A Deeper look into why High End Photography can help you with your bookings
I was just doing a little research into the deeper meaning of photography and came across some interesting takes on why good photography can help fill beds for the hospitality industry worldwide.
Humans heavily rely on visuals to interpret and understand our surroundings.
It is said that our brain is capable of processing images up to 60,000 times faster than text alone. High quality images can provide a lot more information, and evoke far more emotion too.
As well as being faster and easier to process, visual content can also be far more memorable; they create a lasting impression on our minds and stays with us longer than just words.
Images can be more easily associated with other memories and emotions, making them much more likely to stick in our minds. For instance a photo of a beach might evoke happy childhood memories, or sitting in a room overlooking an ocean may evoke the memory of a happy dream.
Take a look at the image below.
Do you instantly imagine yourself sat on that long comfy bench, looking out over the ocean.
A moment to yourself in complete relaxation?
Can you imagine that it’s the perfect place for dinner watching the sun set whist eating and chatting with friends and/or family?
The key is that you are imagining yourself being there.
With thanks for SmartSource for some of the above information and statistics, and of course No.3 New Bridge House who commissioned me to shoot their beautiful accommodation overlooking Tenby Harbour in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. Why not check them out on Insta @newbridgehouse_3_tenby.
